THANK BOTH OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP. I'M NOT SURE WHAT SIZE THE SPREADERS ARE, THERE ARE THREE SECTIONS PER SPREADER.  THIS WOULD HAPPEN WHEN THE 3Y IS COMING UP, WOULD BE ATNO FOR ME DOWN HERE.
I HAVE HAD THE K4KIO HEX-BEAM ABOUT 3 OR 4 YEARS AND THIS IS FIRST PROBLEM.
I STILL HAVE GROUND MOUNTED 43FT VERTICAL I CAN USE WITH TUNER.  CHECKED IT THIS EVENING AND SEAMED TO TUNE OK ON 10 THRU 40M, BUT ONLY HAVE ABOUT 5 RADIALS DOWN AND MOUNTED ON 3 BY 4FT  1/2 INCH STILL PLATE.
CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITH HEX-BEAM UNTIL GROUND DRYS OUT, TO SOFT TO GET LIFT IN TO IT.  GOING TO PUT IT UP TO AROUND 40FT AT SAME TIME, IT IS AT 23FT NOW.
WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU.

Gary,

For whatever it's worth, I also purchase my materials from Paul and Allen at
Max Gain and I'm about 2 hours up the road from you.

Not trying to pressure, but if down time is a factor I can get you fixed up.

Shoot me an email direct at mark at cubexquads.com or call 918-237-0844 if
you'd like to discuss OD and length.

73,
Mark - K5YAC

Subject: [OKDXA] Gary - Parts for Hexbeam

Gary:

I used to operate a KIO Hexbeam at my old QTH in Edmond, and had similar
experiences with snapped fiberglass spreader arms.

I used the following supplier, they have Hexbeam parts to fit most brands,
have reasonable prices, and fast shipping:
