Hi Coy,
Congrats on the QSO. I ended up with one QSO on 17 meters CW, no digi,
no 30 meters. Thought I had one on 30 early in the week and laid off
that band/mode after that...
With 17,830 QSOs, I'm wondering if there might be more in another
laptop that are not in there yet... We'll see... I have seen some
additional CW QSOs since that original 11,571 upload, so the additional
were not all FT8...
Reading the mail, lots of folks all over are complaining about their
QSOs with a pirate. Many have screen shots showing the QSO... And
apparently there is a note on M0OXO QSL Service website saying questions
about FT8 QSOs will NOT be checked out...
There were many things strange about this operation, but one that
stands out for me is 253 QSOs total on 20 Meters, the money band.
Actually I didn't know they made any on 20. Heard they had a dipole made
for 20 but never heard they got it up and never saw spots for 20...
There would have been a lot more NA QSOs short path in our evenings and
long path in our mornings if they had operated 20 meters...
Oh well... on to the next one... Maybe Dom can do better... hi...
hi... (2 hi's, notice that?).
73,
Jeff - K5WE
