[OKDXA] 3Y0J 30 M FT8

I've never seen a bigger contrast between Hams and people who happen to have a transmitter and (maybe) a license before in my life. These lids and jammers do not represent the spirit of amateur radio. It is infuriating. I'll be an old lady the next time someone activates this island. I'm just sorry for the folks who won't have another chance...

Why do they seem to empty the asylums everytime Bouvet some on the air? I don't think I have ever heard DQRM this bad for most other DXPeditions! Plenty of tuner uppers on their frequency on CW, people on the wrong sequence on FT8 so I couldn't hear the 3Y0 even if I had copy on them, and on and on.
I wasn't on the air when 3Y5X was operating but I understand the DQRM for them was terrible also. I know one ham that quit HF over that one and concentrated on VHF for 15 years or so. I thought I worked 3Y0C but it turned out the be a pirate (another loony).

Hi guys,
A lot of the problem was self inflected by the 3Y0J operators. They were TXing on 15/45 as a fox. They were doing this on 30 meters the last two nites that I copied. Was not a problem for me as I us JTDX software, but for WSJT-X users running as a Hound it put them on the wrong sequence automatically as soon as the clicked on the 3Y0J call on the screen.
