OK, this is interesting. I've heard this before: there is a long-delay
echo from MY transmission on 30 m. I've heard this before on 15 m, but
never on 30 m. These never last long and I don't know the cause. I don't
have time to hook up a 'scope to check the echo delay, which would tell
me the round-trip distance.
If I send a dit, I hear an echo of it delayed about 0.2 s. It is
definitely mine, and it is not an artifact from my rig because I hear it
on both my TT Orion 2 and my TS930S. The echo strength varies with time:
sometimes it's quite clear, others absent r very faint.
Happy New Year,
