Darell worked at ICM as a Crystal Engineer about 1 block south of where I worked at OCPD as a Forensic Chemist. We met for lunch when he didn’t bring his. He loved going to Coney Island and The Lunch Box until it closed. We would occasionally go to Joey’s on Sheridan just South of ICM. We had many radio discussions and he was always encouraging operations in the field. He loved RT 66 on the Air and always wanting to know when Jeff, Kyle, and I would be operating from the bridge on the north side of Lake Overholser. After he and I retired I got to talk radio with him more oftenI vI will miss him. 73 and RIP Darell
