DON'T KNOW ABOUT ELECRAFT, BUT IT APPEARS THAT ALL OF THE RADIO COMPANYS ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH GETTING PARTS. I'VE SENT MY AMP AND TUNER BACK TO AMERITRON AND MFJ AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE TAKEN FOREVER TO GET THEM REPAIRED, MY AMP TO OVER 6 MONTHS TO GET BACK, I SOLD THE AMP, THE ALS1306 JUST WOULD NOT HOLD UP FOR DIGITAL.
GOOD LUCK MERRY CHRISTMAS

I sent my K3 in to Elecraft for repair on 10/22.

I received an email from them on 10/27 saying they had received it.

Yesterday 12/13 I sent an email asking for an update.

Today 12/14 I received an email from Elecraft stating:
Hi Jeff,
By my count there are 13 units ahead of yours. Hope this helps.

I'm losing my faith in Elecraft, may look at other brands next time I'm in
the market to buy... That new Yaesu FTDX101d looks pretty nice. Anybody have
one?

What is your experience with Elecraft service? I sent my KPA-500 amp in to
them twice, at a total cost of a kilo-buck. The K3 was repaired once before
for $500...

I like the radios, but it's getting expensive to keep them running...

73,
Jeff - K5WE
