Adding a frequency to WSJT?
Thats easy.
File | Settings |Frequencies tab
Right-click anywhere inside the Working Frequencies table.
Click Insert and fill-in the fields.
With the ICOM rig and CAT over USB, on the Radio tab choose Split Operation
'Rig' and then when it transmits it will shift-up or shift-down to get the
freq more centered in your audio passband. I use Mode 'None' as otherwise
the Radio jumps to RTTY mode.. so I set it SSB-D by hand. But I'm using
OmniRig as the software interface.
This brings me to another favorite topic.. if you have a rig with a USB
interface like an IC-9100 or many others, they do audio over USB so you
don't need an external interface...
