I just checked clublog, you're in his log. When I heard him he was S 3-4 on my stingy S meter, also on a 2 L yagi. I was actually surprised to hear him that early in the evening. He wasn't in there for long either... Think he went back to working EU on 160... GL John...

I’d say an honest RST is 339. He wasn’t strong by any means, but readable for DX QSO purposes. I could copy his call and mine (though the O was dicey) and clearly made out the “5NN.” He responded to my 73 at the end of my signal report, so I know he was working me. I have 2 el at 50 ft, had the rx bandwidth squeezed down to 185 Hz, and the audio peak on, so definitely *not* armchair copy. That said, his signal was coming up.
