Subject: [OKDXA] OKDXA Web Site News

>Our VP, Randy Wing, N0LD, has begun the work on recovering you ability to log in and use the site. I'm not certain what happened, but all user information was lost and requires a complete recovery. Randy has been working over 60 h a week at his job and simply hasn't had the energy to do much else. Add to this that Randy didn't have the time to train anyone else on maintaining the new website.

>You should each receive an email from the OKDXA web site telling you what your username is and providing a link for you to set your own password. If you don't, please contact me and Randy (winger55552001 at yahoo.com). This may take a couple of days, so please be patient. If you haven't seen anything by Wednesday, drop us a note.
>
>We've decided to address maintaining our web site by forming a small web committee (3-4 people) so as to avoid a single point of failure -- which is what we just went though. Dave Rossbach, N5DJR, has offered to help out with this -- we'll happily entertain other volunteers!

Note from K5RKS:

The website now is working OK. I used the new USERID per the e-mail sent
to me and setup a new password. Then I setup a favorite in my browser to
point to the new URL for the website. The URL has changed. Now it is
"www.k5eok.org/okdxa/". When you go to the URL you will get into the
"public" portion of the OKDXA website.

If you go to "members only" portions of the website then you will need
to login as a member of OKDXA. To do this go to the META link in the
lower right corner. Then then enter your USERID and PASSWORD. Now when
you go to restricted pages they should work OK. For example, to get the
member ship list go to: " About OKDXA --> Membership -> Member's List".
The members list comes up FB but it has not been updated yet to reflect
latest status with people who have recently paid 2019 dues.
