I was watching the status of the 3y0Z operation like a hawk since I need 
Bouvet for an ATNO. Hopefully, they will return within a few years to 
try this DXpedition again. There are several locations which are 
difficult to activate due to political situations. But in terms of 
difficult geographical logistics I guess Bouvet is right up there at or 
near the top of the list.

BTW, I was kicked off the Honor Roll last week because they added Kosovo 
to the DXCC countries list. However, I worked Z60A for an ATNO so I 
should be back on the Honor Roll once the QSL comes through from Kosovo. 
I worked Marti when he was on 20 SSB. I have not been able to work them 
on 40m but I have heard them a few times and I think they are workable 
on 40m at around 0400 - 0600UTC.

I'm looking forward to the Johnston Island operation later this year. I 
need Johnston for an ATNO. Johnston is planning on running FT8 using the 
"FT8 DX protocol" which was announced a few days ago. They are going to 
have some trial runs of the FT8 DX protocol prior to the Johnston Island 
operation.
