  As I recall, both Germany (West Germany) and GDR (East Germany) were deleted and a new entity Federal Republic of Germany was created. Yes, you can submit QSL's for deleted countries. You might want to note in detail that is for a QSO date that qualifies for the older, now deleted country... Good Luck...

I'm going over my logbook and have found at least one deleted country 
for which I don't have DXCC credit. My understanding has been that if 
the station was worked when it was a DXCC country, it counts for credit. 
Is that still true? This example happens to be for the GDR and doesn't 
show up on my list of credited countries, but I have the paper QSL.
