[OKDXA] Green Country Hamfest Meeting and Election

It was good to see those of you who were able to attend the OKDXA meeting
at Green Country Hamfest yesterday.  There were 25 or so in attendance. 
Jim, K5LAD, and Bob, K5EYT, renewed their memberships and Kevin, AF5SW,
became a new member.
The meeting was capped off with our biennial election of officers.
The new officers for 2017 through 2019 are:
President: Kim Elmore - N5OP
Vice Pres: Randy Wing - N0LD
Sec/Treas: Bruce Burnette - K5PX

I encourage all the members to express your thanks and appreciation to the
outgoing officers and I also encourage you to give your new officers a
warm welcome as well as your encouragement and support.  In that vein, I
will take this opportunity to thank Steve, NE5SD, for serving as President
the past 2 years and I also want to thank, Ryan, WO0KEE, for serving as
Vice President.

As I indicated in yesterday's meeting, having taken on the new role of W5
Incoming Manager, I feel I should focus on that task.
I want to thank every one of you who have been such great supporters of me
in my various offices in the OKDXA over the past 10 years or so.
