    The US has quit selling IRC's ,  you might check on getting some postage stamps from the country needed.
I have run into a similier circumstance trying to get a card from reunion Is  because they do not except us dollar.  Finally got one via lotw.
    Good Luck on Iran,   need one from stateside also, have them from Alaska,  good luck. If you hear W5TMC, ask him about the a ham back east that sells stamps from different countries,  I can't remember who it is.
