[OKDXA] 2011 OKQP

My 2 cents worth on the 2011 OKQP.  
I think we might want to give serious consideration to what weekend we 
pick in the future.  I observed a major collision between our event and 
the Virgina QSO Party, the North Dakota QSO Party and the Russian DX 
Contest which were all going on the same weekend and who all seemed to be 
wanting to use the same bit of spectrum as our event.
It seemed like participation was much lighter this year as far as out-of-
staters chasing OK stations.  I'd be interested to hear from those of you 
who were rovers as to what it felt like for  you.  Some of the heavy-
hitters who normally come in from out of state to rover in OK were unable 
to make it this year, so I'd be interested to know how many counties 
actually made it on the air. I believe there might have been some who 
committed to put counties on the air who didn't actually go out rovering. 
To all of you who did participate, thanks for jumping into the event and 
putting OK counties on the air.
