I worked 'em on 20, 30 and 40, all CW.  Their signals weren't great, 
but not in the mud, either. I've had more trouble working S9DX than I 
did VP8ORK. I heard the VP8 on 80 m once, but they really were in the 
mud and I figured that, against the pile I heard, it was pretty much 
a hopeless cause.

They were an all-time new one for me, though, so I'm happy.
