Interesting band, that 6 meters.

I have a KB6KQ loop at about 20 feet or so,  Works great and have
worked VE, XE, KP4, CO, and a few others and about 35 states ...

But on this opening, I'm just not hearing any of the exotic stuff.
When I've worked most of the domestic stuff, some of the signals have
been as if they were in the same county as me, so I would have thought
that I'd at least *hear* some of these DX guys even if I couldn't work
them ... but no.

Last night, the Sporadic E cloud was so strong over Ohio that the
state was completely obscured by the intersecting red lines.  Even the
2-m map showed some KC-NJ QSOs.

Wild.
