Good Morning Everyone,
I do appreciate the responses. I have tried to resist the temptation to answer the call for West Coast stations. I just wish that more DX stations realized just how large the US really is and how the stations on either coast have a far greater advantage than we have here in the Central US.
Have a good and thanks once again for the responses.
73,
Steve

Subject: [OKDXA] Are We West Coast?
Hello Folks,
I was listening to the input split side of 9L1X yesterday.
The operator in 9L was asking for West Coast stations and he was receiving many
calls from W5, which he gladly answered. When a DX station asks for West Coast stations
is our area of the US considered West Coast? Is West Coast a generic term for
any where west of the Mississippi River?
I have often wondered about this in the past and I thought
it might be interesting to see what the group thinks.
Have a good day.
