The last time I was at the post office getting IRCs, I overheard the 2 postal clerks talking about them as I had left. The one was telling the other one that he had sold only 1/2 dozen of them in the last 5 years, and they were all to me!

One other local here who does a bit of DXing sends $2 bills, thinking the novelty factor might help.

I recently had an email exchange with Toni, LZ1JZ and asked him if he received the 2 QSLs I had sent him direct for an 80m QSO.  One was sent with 2 GS and the other was sent with a SASE with a Bulgarian stamp.  He said he hadn't received either one (both mailed over 6 months ago) but had already dropped a QSL in the bureau for me.  I  guess mail theft still occurs in plenty of places.
