I have owned a TS850 and did find it to be a really good receiver.  However, I have seen quite a few references to the Kenwood TS930 as being one of the best CW contesting radios ever.  Is its performance that much above a TS850 (or even better than it)?  I can't afford a K3, even though I am sure that it beats both of them.  The Ten Tec Corsair II also seems to get listed as one of the best CW rigs ever.
