No, I think there are still more than that. Of course Clear Channel
and clear channel are not the same as you alluded to with your mention
of corporatization, but even clear channel doesn't mean what it used
to mean. Further down, WLW 700 Cincinnati is a clear and WGN 720 and
WBBM 780 out of Chicago are both clear. I'm not sure there were ever
many clears above 1000 kHz ...
