> Our antenna bill [old HB 1037] has been amended to SB426. The PRB1
> legislation is still alive, and has the possibility to be passed under
> this latest legislative move.

> John, WB5SYT, spent a considerable amount of time and effort at the

> not let his effort slide on this issue. I for one, and I know many of
> you, were disappointed when 1037 did not make it to the House floor.
> Now, we have a second chance to get this bill approved this year. GET

> Here is what we would like from all of Oklahoma Radio Amateurs ......
>
> First - the Senate Bill 426 has been moved to a conference committee for
> action. It is in our best interest at this time to contact each of these
> several Senators and House Members to get SB426 out of that committee.
> This effort is irregardless of their home district ... write them, email
> them, phone them, visit them -- just let them know what you think of the
> amendment. Don't let the first part of this bill influence you -- it is
> some language changing how municipalities annex land to their respective
> locals. Our bill follows this annex language -- they have combined the
> two into one piece of legislation -- SB426
