FYI: Watching the noon news this afternoon it was mentioned December
11th set a new record for Tulsa. Most rain on that date. If I recall,
1.25" officially @ Tulsa International. The vast majority of this came
down when the surface temp was above freezing, otherwise the rain could
have made the half to three quarter inch coating of ice look like
'primer' - or - translated into a ~ foot of snow.

As bad as it is, coulda' been worse for the sake of a few degrees colder.
