Alan makes a good point. Radios with dual receive can be most useful in  
finding the split the DX station is working. Almost a necessity today when guys  
keep calling and don't shut up when another station is called, Stupidly  Insane.
The most difficult part of working DX is just trying to find where he's  
listening. 30 yrs ago I don't believe I ever hrd the word   ONLY.  DXing and 
contesting have become a lot less fun due to the evolving radio  practices. 
Someday let me tell you how I really feel.
