AM BCB band condx sound fairly normal tonight, but Saturday night around 9pm
I was listening to KNX in Los Angeles on 1070 kHz... Wondering if anyone
heard any wild stuff on 160? Checked 640 kHz for KFI, but nothing was
dominant enough to rise out of the soup. I've been in Okieland for 22+ years
and I can (probably) count on one hand the number of times I've heard LA on
the BC radio, so that's a rare copy. Did it on a Yamaha R-70 stereo receiver
(with a mediocre AM section) and the big resonant loop that still needs to
go up in the attic some day, so I'll chalk it up to condx... Although, I
must say, the loop does have moments when I wonder if there's just a little
pixie dust on the wire....
