Hey Ralph,
Good plan.  I’d like to suggest the following topics:
1. Satellite comms using ham radio
2. Solar power for your station
3. Solar physics
4. Electromagnetics (physics & math theory)

Also, please add me as volunteer mentor for the above as well as:

1. Portable operating/POTA
2. Learning CW
3. Digital modes
4. Raspberry PI
