[OFARC] Jamming Cuba??

Network News reports that internet service in Cuba has been shut down by the government.  Hal called and said he has heard reports about the Cuban government jamming amateur radio signals.

Normally I see several FT8 signals from Cuba each day, but the past few days none.  Last night I noticed a wide band of unusual interference on 40m. It extended from 7.05 to 7.2  with white noise punctuated by clicks.
Steven says he has seen the same thing for 2 days.

I suggest we monitor HF bands for unusual interference and report anything unusual to ARRL.
Since we are in Houston Texas it is a short hop to Cuba.
