Jeremy,
Good afternoon.  I will meet you at St Francis de Sales church (8200 Roos Rd) at 0900 tomorrow.  I will bring in my IC 7300, RG8x cable (50ft), Wolf River Coils TIA-1000 antenna, and the Bioenno 12Ah LiFePO battery.  We can play it by ear and gauge if your gear proves to be enough or if I need to rig up mine also.

I’ve had some experience w/the IC 7300 so that may come in handy.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow.

Subject: [OFARC] Jamboree on the air

Below is the info I got about jamboree on the air last night from my local scout group.  I plan on showing up before 9:00 so I can get in the scout room and start setting up and tuning the antennas since I’ve never used the icom 7300 or the accompanied antenna. I will also being my icom 7100 and buddipole and might set that up as a uhf/vhf station as well as having a few hand helds and echolink.  I hope that this goes this well this year and maybe we can have jota as a stand alone event next year for our area.  Please let me know if you are able/willing to help. We will be using the call sign KG9BSA this weekend which is my scout Troops club call  I might need help with putting up the antenna if someone is able to help out if so please send me an email and I’ll send you my plans.
