MMSSTV does have PD120 which will run automatically when engaged.  To use click the mode button in TX or RX window with the right button of the mouse and select it from the pop-up menu.  Signals within a 15 degree pass can be easily received with a vertical.  One thing to try is to record the signal through the sound card and clean it up using a sound editing program like Audacity which can clean up the noise.  Then process the signal through the SSTV program.  Mark

I noticed the ARRL news item below last week and have been monitoring the downlink frequency of 145.800 mhz FM

the software MMSSTV version i have does not include PD120 format and I have not yet found an updated version.

my other program, QSSTV, does include PD120

I have a vertically oriented j-pole for 2meters located only 8 feet above the ground.  

In the past 24 hours I have decoded 3 SSTV images from ISS..... one of them reasonably clear.

this web link shows the next pass visible from Houston to be 0258 CST tomorrow morning.

give it a tray and see if you can get a postcard from space....

12/24/2019 

Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) will support slow-scan television (SSTV) transmissions worldwide in memory of cosmonauts Alexei Leonov, Valery Bykovsky, and Sigmund Jaehn. Transmissions are scheduled to start at 1100 UTC on December 28 and continuing until 1820 on January 1. Transmissions will take place on 145.800 MHz and in the PD 120 format, using the call sign RS0ISS.
