All:  I'm sure many of you have had bad caps in TVs which were a problem a
few years ago.  The boards for some of these TVs are now hard to find and
only the chips are available.  Usually it's the same components that break
so its fairly easy to diagnose problems with TVs these days.  Its either the
power supply or the logic board.  Surface mount repair needs skill but with
the right tools can be done.  I've successfully done 2 board-level repairs
using chip kits from this site.  Prices for parts and tools is good. Support
is also good.
