Mark and all,
As I think about this issue more, I'm beginning to believe the root-cause is not a virus in the email but with the reflector itself. When someone sends a large emails with lots of MBs attached, the reflector server is tries to receive an acknowledge from each recipient and fails to "see" it. The internet protocol attempts to deliver all email using "best effort" which results in a lot of resends.
I think it is wise to *not* attempt to send large emails to the reflector, self-impose a limit of no more than 10MB. If you need to send more than that, send multiple emails, each with a different title/subject. As a club member, you have access to the webmail service hosted by our web page account I'm doing some cleanup there and will send out login instructions to club members in a few more days. This webmail app will not accept more than about 20MB of attachments and will prevent you from doing so at the point of attachment.
