I stumbled across a net on 40M the other night called "3905 Century Club"

A very welcoming net control!!  they do nets on 20M, 40M and 75M

Looking at their web page I found the "tech page" to be very useful.

take a look and see if there is anything you can use ..... I will 
probably build one of the power line noise filters.
