I'll do a little research on the ant. analyzer to rollup costs. If they've
got unpopulated PCBs for sale, that would be the most cost effective option
but could probably order boards from on-line suppliers, I'd guess 10 for <
$100.

project to build an AM transmitter.
They call it the "Pine board project" because everything is mounted on
small pieces of pine board.
the show walks you through the parts, assembly, and purpose of each
section .... field strength meter, power supply, transmitter section, &
final amplifier
