I found some more details online. Looks like the flyover is scheduled to take place about 11:45 AM. See full details below. The WWII Museum of the NRV presents their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Schedule of Events:
• 11:00 AM: Prayer and the National Anthem, words of thanks and special recognitions, and ribbon cutting will kick off the festivities.
• 11:45 AM or 12:00 PM: WW2 Aircraft (four, T-6 Texans) flyovers will begin around 11:45 AM (weather dependent)
• 12:30 PM: Mission BBQ will begin serving food

After months of hard work and dedication, we are opening the doors to the Museum! Walk through history, explore authentic artifacts, and hear the stories that shaped our nation. Help us honor our veterans and celebrate this moment for our community!

Enjoy museum self-guided tours all day. The Virginia Tech Highty Tighties Regimental band will be performing "Big Band" music throughout the day.

We are honored to announce that several WW2 Veterans will be our Guests of Honor and will be joining us at the grand opening. Shake their hands, hear their stories, and thank them in person for the freedoms that we enjoy today!

Admission is free and all are welcome.

All visitor parking will be located next door to the museum at The Lewis Gale Physicians Family Medicine Office located at 1645 North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.

The WWII Museum of the NRV is located at 1531 North Main Street, Suite C in Blacksburg, VA.

World War II Era Airplane Flyover Saturday November 15th

The World War II Museum of the New River Valley, located at 1531 North Main
Street, is holding its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Saturday,
November 15th.  As part of that celebration, and weather permitting, up to
four WWII-style aircraft plan to do a flyover of the museum.  Citizens may
notice these aircraft flying in formation over Blacksburg roughly mid-day
on Saturday.
