A new addition to the valley. I look forward to exploring the museum and I
would think the museum would make for a great special event station
location.

World War II Era Airplane Flyover Saturday November 15th

The World War II Museum of the New River Valley, located at 1531 North Main
Street, is holding its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Saturday,
November 15th. As part of that celebration, and weather permitting, up to
four WWII-style aircraft plan to do a flyover of the museum. Citizens may
notice these aircraft flying in formation over Blacksburg roughly mid-day
on Saturday.
