This week we will be discussing the Virginia QSO Party coming up this coming Saturday and Sunday.  It will go from 10:00 AM Saturday (1400 UTC) until midnight Saturday.  Then on Sunday if will begin at 8:00 am local (1200 UTC) until 8:00 pm local 2359 UTC.  This gives you an easy event to learn about contesting.  Everyone will be looking to contact Virginia Stations.  For the past 5 years there has been no Galax or Grayson County. (Rovers only) stations .  If you operate from these locations your will be a rare contact.
