Hey Sarah,
I can offer my experience with my personal set-up I use often for POTA and
camping with wife and 3 kiddos!
I have a yaesu ft-991a (home and field use)
Ldg z-100a tuner
31ft jackite pole
Ldg 9:1 unun
53ft wire 16ga End fed
50ft of ABR lmr240 ultraflex
LDG 1:1 choke
Nermak 12v 50AH battery
Noco genius 2amp battery charger
Craftsman versastack
Don't forget 550 paracord!!!
I can share some pictures of the Jackite pole and how I made the "guy rope"
system if needed.
If any additional information is needed just shoot me an email and I can
get pictures of my kit.
I haven't had much issue with my set up I did a lot of research on the
radios and the ft991a was my final choice. I use it in my qth shack and
mobile ops for pota/camping!
