There is nothing contrary to the FCC's Rules in having club officers' dues
paid out of the club treasury. What is illegal is accepting compensation
for transmitting on amateur radio. Period. As I understand the proposal, it
would not pay anybody to transmit on the ham bands. So members can make
your decision about this idea, for or against, without being concerned
about gettng officers in trouble with the FCC. 73, Kay N3KN
