[nrv-hams] Primary station consideration for March meeting

Thanks Bill,
This radio (FT-991A) has a built in tuner, however, during field day, we
know this to be a problem. Only manual tuners work well in that environment.
A manual tuner may be something to consider as well (~$250 for something
like an MFJ-934).
I normally handle the power poles, and we already have a power supply, so
that's covered.
The only antennas I am aware of that the club has are the dipoles for HF.
Others are usually brought by club members for use, as well as coax and
antenna masts.
Another thing suggested would be a Pelican case (or Harbor
Freight equivalent) to house the radio for protection.
A "Nifty!" manual is certainly a good idea for any radio as well.
All of these things could be considered, although we may want to wait a bit.
If others would like to donate items to the club, like, oh, I don't know...
a 2m/70cm yagi and pole mount for VHF+ work, that would be great!
