The exercise will be from 10:30am until 2pm. I do not know if there will be
hams at the Berglund Center. For our part I hope we could have at least 2
hams at the New River Community College to set up a vhf-uhf station for
phone and winlink.

The Red Cross will be conducting the following:
    We will be conducting a full scale sheltering exercise on Thursday
March 16th in Roanoke and Pulaski to demonstrate our ability to shelter a
minimum of 200 residents. The goal is to be fully operational and to accept
clients at the shelters within 4 hours of notification of the incident.  In
Roanoke we will be taking supplies and setting up the shelter at the
Berglund Center and in Pulaski we will be taking supplies and setting up
the shelter at the New River Community College

They have contacted me and ask for ham presence. I am not sure there will
be any traffic.but it is an opportunity for us to be visible. Hopefully
they will have hams at the Berglund Center from the Roanoke area and some
traffic can be passed.

I will pass on more details as they become available.
