I have served as your Section Manager for 12 of the last 14 years.  It
has been an interesting and fulfilling journey.  I have learned a lot
and made quite a few new friends.  However, since the death of my
brother I have had to put increasingly more time into running my
family's HVAC contracting firm.  This has impacted the amount of time
available for the SM position.  Therefore the time has come for me to
step down and turn the reins over to someone else effective the date
the ARRL Field Services and Radiosport Manager appoints my successor.
I would like to thank all of the members of the Virginia Section for
their help and support during my time as Section Manager.

The ARRL will announce the appointment of a new Section Manager.  I
will be attending Frostfest and looking forward to seeing everyone
there!
