Well, it appears that the 440 machine is out of service as well.  Ben
KK4EWT and I were having a chat at about 7:45 and it failed in
mid-transmission as far as I can tell.

I tried calling simplex and reverse on both repeater pairs and heard no-one.

Maybe we should have a plan-B for nets and in the case of an actual
emergency that knocks out one or both repeaters.  Maybe we already have a
plan B but I am not aware of it.

Anyway, I am teaching this weekend in Tazewell county and should be back
Sunday by 8pm, so if there is RF flowing I will try and call the net.

Ben KK4EWT needs a substitute for next week as he will be traveling.

Missed you all, I was looking forward to more talk of the Field Day
activity.  I should have come, buy staying home I broke both lawnmowers.
Sounds vaguely like the repeater situation...
