Hi NRV ARC Members,
This message is intended for club members who plan to build Moxon 2M antennas THIS Saturday morning ((March 2) at the Dublin Firehouse, starting about 9:15 AM. This is the same place where last year we all made the Band Pass Filters we used at Field Day with so much success.

Donnie has made a preliminary list of tools we should bring. Please make sure you know what YOUR tools look like, so we can get them back to you, if they somehow don't go home with you!

Here's the list, so far needed to do the project, and I pick up from this morning's email from Donnie:

> Tools:
> A. Vise w/padded jaws (vacuum vise recommended)
> B. Tubing cutter, for cutting elements
> C. Hacksaw, for cutting PCB pipe
> D. Flat files for trimming of aluminum and PVC
> E. Screw drivers, flat and Phillips, various sizes
> F. Meter or yard stick for ACCURATE measurements
> G. Fine point markers for marking aluminum and PVC
> H. Pliers: slip-joint, needle nose, and hemostats
> I. Sand paper for smoothing metal and PVC, fine grit
> J. Paper strips for accurately marking PVC tubing cut lines
> K. Calipers for accurate measuring (vernier, dial, or digital)
> L. Knives and wire strippers for trimming coax
> M. Soldering iron & rosin core solder
> N. Crimpers for crimp terminals
> O. Heat shrink tubing, about 2-in diameter
> P. Heat gun
>
> Chemicals and consumables:
> A. Penetrox, Oxgard, Alumox, or other oxidation inhibitor
> B. Coax-seal to weatherproof the coaxial connections
>

So, if you can figure out from Donnie's email... here are most of the tools we will need!!!

I am looking forward to this antenna-building project!
