Len,
I just talked to Tom, he sent me a link which I'll try to post here.  I
don't know if it will work or not?  Anyway, the page says:

*ALL Chinese programming cables have fake chips in them and require older
drivers to make them work correctly.   **This is especially true if you use
VISTA, WIN7 or WIN8*


*You MUST download these files to your computer, otherwise they may try to
run while still on the server.  The result is a program screen with columns
missing & etc.*
