Thanks Russ, I did get the cable and software but was told it was no good so I did not try it. I rid try the chirps software and it worked ok up to the point of putting the info in the radio and said it was incompatible.

Len, did you get the software with it and the programming cable? I have
heard and witnessed the horrors of trying to program these radios without
it. Wish I had better news for you, but it seems to be a problem with all
of the Chinese radios coming over. Tom King, W4VZH has one and absolutely
loves it! Until he has to program it. I got a chance to play and gave up.
