To Frank, Carter, Russ & the Group,
In my post on Friday about the RCS-2 my querey had been if there is a
device that would allow me to connect a pair of 2M rigs to a single
antenna. Thus allowing me to monitor 2 repeaters at the same time and
transmit on either of them. Saturday I stopped by TJ's down in Wytheville
and had a conversation with Mike in the shop. Short answer, what I was
trying to do is a really bad idea and could result in a pair of blown
rigs. His suggestion mount a second antenna, which I might do, or simply
have the HT with me when I want to monitor more than one repeater.
73s,
Patrick
