This email came in today (Sunday) from Mary Orr, and since I cannot be on
tonight's (Sunday's) N4NRV Club Net, I thought I would just forward on to
you what Mary Orr sent to me.

 

Sounds like Max is coming along OK, so keep those QSL cards and your notes
going out to the Kettering Medical Center, as they seem to be cheering up
"our" impatient patient!!!

Hi Carter and Kay,

 

Sorry I have not updated recently, but here goes.  Max was moved from
intensive care to the regular cardiac unit yesterday (Friday) morning.  He
is eating regular meals, although his appetite is messed up by the pain
medications.  All the medical personnel are pleased with his progress.  He,
of course, is a bit frustrated.  He wants to be able to do more than he can.


 

He was VERY pleased with the QSL cards.  Thanks so much!  I imagine in a day
or two he will be ready to catch up on his Daily DX emails.
