Hi Randy,
Thanks for all that excellent information. I found you up new Salem on
I-81!
I am forwarding your email to the New River Valley ARC Reflector, so that
Patrick Johnson KJ4TRT can see it; I'm sure he will set you up on the club's
reflector.
By the way, when I am driving near an APRS Gateway you can look up N3AO-9 on
www.aprs.fi
(http://aprs.fi/?call=N3AO-9&mt=roadmap&z=11&timerange=3600&_s=ss_call) and
maybe you will see MY little red car!
73,
Carter

Carter,
IRLP was created in Canada, and when I go up to the Maritimes every summer,
I hear a lot of IRLP activity cross-Canada. I have even answered an
Australian call on a DC area IRLP linked repeater when I was on the beltway
once. And in Canada I have checked into 2 meter IRLP cross-Canada nets.
I'd be interested in learning more too.
And you can see my latest APRS location report at:
http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?call=NS4NS
I also sent this to the NRV-Hams mailing list, but got an automated reply
that I was not a member, so I don't know if it will go through.
73,
Randy
