BIKE VIRGINIA IS COMING TO THE NEW RIVER VALLEY 

 

Join us on September 27th to learn more about the tour that has revolutionized the way to see Virginia by bike.  This could be a great boon to the local economy.  Bring your ideas and enthusiasm out to the organizational meeting on Monday, September 27 at 6 p.m. at the Competitiveness Center, 6580 Valley Center Drive in Fairlawn.  They are looking for businesses and civic organizations, with emphasis on the following areas:
Caterers; Food Vendors (festival style); Outdoor recreation companies; Bed and Breakfasts/Inns; Parks and Rec Officials from Montgomery & Pulaski Counties, Radford, Christiansburg, & Floyd; Local Civic groups that might like to do fundraisers on site at Bike Virginia; Local artisans; Bike shops or related retailers; Rescue Organizations; HAM Radio; Wineries.
