Hi Gary,

I heard you calling CQ shortly after 6:00 AM this morning, with about a
5-6/7 signal here, some 50 miles east of Toronto...

I then called you over & over from about 6:04, to 6:20 AM...finally gave up,
& called CQ myself---raised Ed (WA4NJY) from the Tampa Bay, Florida area,
but that darned VOA station on 7255-KHz was just TOO much for both of us...

I finally gave up at 7:15 AM, and read the paper!

Rig here is a Johnson Viking II "C-C", receiver a 1944 RCA AR-88LF...antenna
was a full-wave loop on 80-meters, tuned for 40 by way of a HB transmatch...

Maybe next weekend's the charm---but we GOTTA get away further from that VOA
outlet!

~73~ Eddy VE3CUI - VE3XZ
