Thanks for the dope re. the gathering place...!
I run a 1962-vintage E.F. Johnson Viking II "C-C" transmitter (a unique
outfit built for the Royal Canadian Air Force), and a 1844 RCA AR-88LF
receiver...antenna on 40 is a full-wave loop.
I like your group time---I'm an early riser on weekends, & getting kinda
tired of calling CQ on 80! Now I might someplace to "...come home to", Hi Hi
